Instructional Design
Instructional design is the art of presenting
information effectively to convey knowledge.
User manuals, instruction sheets, process
flowcharts and multimedia tutorials are all products of instructional
design -- they seek to educate users to undertake a task or set of
tasks.
Red Pony can produce a range of educational
materials designed to meet the specific needs of your staff, clients or
users. We can ensure that the content addresses a range of learning
styles (e.g. visual, auditory or kinesthetic and tactile) and help you
select the best tools to develop your project (e.g. MS Word, MS Visio,
Adobe RoboHelp).
We have experience working across a variety of
platforms and delivery mechanisms, including:
- print documentation
- presentation materials
- online help documentation
- training videos
CASE
STUDY
The Victorian Department of Sustainability and
Environment is recognised internationally as a leader in the field of
community engagement.
DSE Project Leader Martin Butcher asked Red Pony
to help take existing ad hoc documentation and develop an
'out-of-the-box' package that included all the tools, documentation and
other resources required to run the two-day Community Engagement
Fundamentals training course.
