Provide technical writing services to develop asset management strategies for SP AusNet's gas and electricity operations for submission to the industry regulator.

DESCRIPTION:
Red Pony was engaged by documentation specialist HH Content to assist in the development of short- and long-term asset management strategy documentation for the Victorian energy company, SP AusNet.

SP AusNet plays a vital role in Victoria's energy supply industry. The group owns electricity transmission and distribution networks, along with gas distribution assets.

Red Pony worked with SP AusNet's electricity transmission and distribution operations and its gas distribution operation to structure, collate and edit a large body of asset management documentation. This included documents for submission to the industry regulator, the Victorian Essential Services Commission.

The project involved the creation and modification of document templates, diagrams and graphs, the implementation of a comprehensive style guide across the document suite and editorial review of complex, highly technical subject matter.

Red Pony consultant Peter Riches met with representatives of the various SP AusNet business operations to establish project requirements and define parameters. Work was undertaken both onsite and offsite to ensure a streamlined and efficient project model.

At the conclusion of the project, Red Pony provided additional consulting services to assist SP AusNet develop a suitable model to upload and maintain the entire suite of documents on the organisation's intranet.
