Provide editorial and project management services for the development of the tender to create the new Australia Post Online Philatelic Shop.
When SitePoint Solutions decided to tender for the project of revamping Australia Post’s online stamp shop, they wanted to make sure their submission gave them the best possible chance of winning the work.
Aware of Red Pony’s track record of managing and developing large IT project submissions, SitePoint brought in principal consultant Peter Riches to help put the bid together.
With Peter’s assistance, the final submission established exactly why SitePoint was the best supplier for the project, and how their solution would give Australia Post the exact functionality and capability they required.
Before any actual writing began, Peter sat down with the SitePoint project team and helped develop a response template that would best match the client’s requirements.
Peter then worked with SitePoint’s solution experts to ‘tease’ out the details of the proposed solution. The nature of the project meant that a considerable amount of technical material was required. This documentation was edited for clarity and to ensure readability without compromising the meaning of the content.
Peter also helped in developing the collateral marketing materials as well as the crucial executive summary to highlight the unique offering of SitePoint.
The final submission drew together the input of a number of content authors, including various subject matter experts, within a single seamless response. As a result, SitePoint was awarded the contract to develop Australia Post’s new stamp shop service.
Red Pony’s work has contributed to SitePoint landing our biggest client and project to date.
