PROJECT BRIEF
Create a suite of Microsoft Word templates to be used to generate a variety of different legal agreements.
Context
CIE Legal formed in 2008 when a group of lawyers at a large national law firm spotted a gap in the market for smaller, boutique firms to advise major organisations.
Execution
CIE Legal first engaged Red Pony to create a generic legal agreement template that could be provided to clients and used to generate a range of different agreements. This template included a variety of fields for standard elements that could be entered manually or generated from legal practice management software using standard merge fields. Image fields enabled clients to insert their own logo for custom branding.
The comprehensive style set also provided all the elements to format content, including heading styles, numbered clauses, schedules, annexures and a range of signatory page options.
CIE Legal then engaged Red Pony to undertake a second project, which involved creating a comprehensive suite of agreement templates for internal use with variations for a range of agreement types.
Outcome
This suite used CIE Legal corporate branding and provided staff with options for long-form and short-form agreements, a letter agreement and different branding options.
Red Pony provided CIE Legal with training documentation, including a template ‘cheat sheet’ and instructional video, to assist with the rollout of the new templates to staff and ensure they were implemented as intended.
